A walking tour of Aberystwyth to appreciate the town’s mosaic heritage. Why did mosaic shop foot plates go out of fashion, how are mosaics made? Learn what happened to a commission that went very wrong. Have a go at cutting or nibbling a tile. This interactive walk includes a half time interval to meet new friends and enjoy with a complimentary drink.

Depart from Ceredigion Museum entrance
A slight incline on the walk to get up the main high street
Tour lasts about 2 hrs 1.2 miles

Tour finishes on the promenade.
Things to bring with you
Closed shoes and warm clothing. Castle Point can be quite windy even on a sunny day. A pair of binoculars would be handy too.
