Thank you for your response. ✨

Just keep swimming…as they say in Finding Nemo film!

I have sustainable marketing and rely on social media to do all my leg work, but Facebook, Instagram and the like are blocking my attempts and reaching out; they want me to pay for advertising… and they aren’t having my money.

Time for a radical re-think; me thinks.

One amazing day training through Mid Wales Tourism was eye opening. They described how marketing in tourism is changing very fast. This old dog needs to keep up. Everyday is a learning day.

Time to bring in the troops. In the form of one amazing lass from the Universities TFTS department wanting to gain greater experience…but she is a natural. And I have stretched her; her patience, her skills and her creativity. Her name is Sarah Abdul Haddi and it all started when I responded to a call out for cat people…she wanted to video cats and their owners for her MA programme.  I guess I am a cat lady, whatever that is; Orlando has appeared in my work and he’s relatively placid and for a rescue puss, he has carved out a very nice life with us.

I was so impressed with Sarah and her filming that I asked her if she wanted to do some filming of my Restless Aberystwyth walk..to appeal to tourists who didn’t know Aberystwyth.  She rose to the challenge videoing walkers as I delivered my walk. I realised this could be used on TikTok and Visit Wales site and my own web site. Sarah rose to the challenge. In total five short films have been made about different walks and I think they are ok. I would love to hear your views.

research in National Library for Gregynog Event.

In addition I have also been given a tip that will grab the attention of locals. I have designed some recycled paper beer mats. What do you think? There is Orlando again…

I have also finally got myself sorted with Google reviews so I should be above to be found more easily.

Well the proof is in the pudding, I will monitor stats and see what rises to the top.

One last video is being edited for a bespoke experience at Gregynog Hall. Keep following. Look for videos in my site under guided walks and Ahoy m’hearties and Spot the Ghoulshit.
