It’s not often that Aberystwyth has snow on the beach. I have lived here for over 30 years and have seen it probably 6 times. I love that yellowy light in the sky that gives us the first warning sign that snow is on its way.

Yesterday’s walk along the promenade had a veil of white muslin-like clouds showing the snow hitting Pwllheli, like a shroud in one of those marvelous carved statues from the Neo-classical period (Giovanni Strazza). The beauty was breath taking, but no camera. (note to self- always carry camera)
We live in such beautiful place; my New Years’ resolution should be to be more mindful and take your camera!
‘The Hut’ of course is a must for a promenade walk. Welsh Brew tea in a mug in the open air is ‘manna from heaven’. They do it so well.
Shout out to photographers: Charlie Day (the Hut)
Aberdabbadoo walks resume soon. I don’t want you all to get frost bite! Not being idle though; I am in the National Library researching for a new event.
